Pelco, Inc. /dba/ Pelco Imports is an importer of fine wines from around the world. Our wines are purchased directly from the producers/makers of the wine, imported into the United States and stored in climate controlled warehouses specifically designed to handle wines.

Started more than ten years ago, Pelco was created by  D.C. Flynt, MW and Larry Hauskins, MD for the purpose of bringing the world's finest wines to the United States.

D.C. Flynt, MW is a member of the Institute of Masters of Wine. The Institute (IMW), founded in 1953, exists to promote the highest level of educational achievement for the wine industry, culminating in the internationally recognized qualification of Master of Wine (MW). With a total membership of 249 (2005), the Institute is an international organization with 18 different nationalities represented among members who work or live in 19 countries around the globe. In addition, Mr. Flynt is the only MW who is also a restaurateur.

Dr. Larry Hauskins, MD is a wine expert in his own right. He regularly visits and consults with winemakers, wineries and others in the trade in all major wine-producing regions of the world. His business acumen and experience in the wine trade has enabled him to bring a high level of expertise to the business of wine importation and distribution.
